This book is about when the world is taken over by aliens called souls that take over a human body and use it as their host to survive. Living their lives like nothing happened in the host body. When one of the last humans, Melanie, is captured and by the seekers, souls put in a host and their job is to capture the remaining humans. A soul is put into her body losing all control of her body and she worries also her mind. Wanderer the soul put into Melanie’s body was told about the difficulty of living in a human host. The overwhelming emotions and the graphic memories.

Wanderer goes through Melanie’s mind hoping to find the location of the remaining hiding humans but Melanie fills her mind of the man she loves Jared, a human still in hiding. Unable to separate her from her bodies desires, she wants to fine Jared as much as Melanie. So they set out on a dangerous journey to find the one they both desire to be with so much.

Melanie is like any other human. She wants best for her and the ones she loves, she wants to act out in violence to get back at people who did wrong, and always wants things to work out her way and if it doesn’t she thinks it’s unfair. Wanderer is the opposite she what is best for others and puts her well being second of everyone else. She hates violence and would never hit anyone not even in an act of self defense and she wants everyone to be happy. The setting for most of the book is in underground tunnels in the middle of the desert not that far from Seattle.

I absolutely loved this book I have read it many many times and intend to read it more. I would recommend it to all my friends. It just shows more of the talent that Stephanie possesses.

    This book seems different and interesting. I am looking for a different book because it seemslike all themes are the same these days. I liked your detail in your book review. Nice job.
